Therefore, the design and assembly department should fully study the installation of thrust aligning roller bearing. Hope to install in accordance with the operating standards. Operational standard items are usually as follows:

(1) Check the dimensions and finishing of related parts;

(2) Installation;

(3) Provide lubricants.

(4) Cleaning bearings and bearing related components;

(5) Inspection after installation of bearings.

It is hoped that the packing of the self-aligning roller bearing will not be opened until the installation is imminent. Lubricating oil lubrication, general also need not be cleaned, but, instruments or high-speed bearings, etc., to be cleaned with clean oil, remove the rust inhibitor coated on the bearings. General grease lubrication, do not wash, direct filling grease. Furthermore, bearings sealed with grease can be used directly without washing. Bearings with antirust agent removed are easy to rust, so they can not be put aside. When mounted to the shell, there are usually many clearance matches, and the outer ring has excess. Usually, press is used to press in, or there are cold contraction matching methods installed after cooling. When dry ice is used as coolant and condensation is combined with installation, moisture in air will condense on the surface of thrust aligning roller bearing. Therefore, appropriate anti-rust measures are needed.

After continuing operation, the vibration and noise of the self-aligning roller bearing begin to increase, sometimes abnormal sound occurs, but the change of vibration increase is slow. At this time, the kurtosis value of the bearing begins to suddenly reach a certain value. In our opinion, the bearing is characterized by initial failure at this time.

At this time, it is required to closely monitor the aligning roller bearing and pay close attention to its changes. Since then, the bearing kurtosis value began to decline rapidly and approached the normal value, while the vibration and noise began to increase significantly, and the increase began to accelerate. When the vibration exceeded the vibration standard (such as ISO2372 standard), the bearing kurtosis value also began to increase rapidly. When both the vibration standard and the kurtosis value exceeded the normal value (available relative kurtosis standard), we think that the bearing has entered. In case of late failure, the equipment should be repaired and the bearings should be replaced in time.

Bearings show late failure characteristics to appear serious failure (usually bearing damage such as axle holder, burns, sand rack spallation, raceway, bead wear, etc.) time is not more than a week, the larger the capacity of equipment, the faster the speed, the shorter the interval time. Therefore, in the actual bearing fault diagnosis, once the late fault characteristics are found, the fault of thrust aligning roller bearing should be judged decisively, and the maintenance should be arranged as soon as possible.
